CNC Wire Forming

Wire Forms

CNC wire formers can produce some of the most intrinsic shapes for simple or complicated applications. Depending on the capabilities of the machine, a typical multi-axis CNC wire former is usually able to produce complete parts without the need for expensive secondary operations. However, some wire forms are extremely complex and do require additional secondary operations in order to create the specified design. Four slide machines also have the ability to make a complete part, but have a few limitations in handling complex geometries. A key advantage of using a four slide machine is the ability to run at a higher speed, thus producing more parts per hour than a CNC wire former. Each part that is quoted is evaluated in terms of ease of fabrication as well as the most cost effective method that should be used to produce it.
