Fourslide Production

High-speed forming for complex, multi-bend precision components

At Rowley Spring and Stamping Corp., our fourslide production capabilities allow us to manufacture intricate metal stampings and wire forms with exceptional efficiency and repeatability. The fourslide process is ideal for producing complex geometries and multiple bends within a single machine setup — reducing secondary operations and lowering overall production costs.

Advanced Fourslide Manufacturing

Precision forming with speed and material efficiency

Fourslide machines utilize four synchronized sliding tools that approach the workpiece from multiple directions, allowing for simultaneous forming operations. This capability makes fourslide production highly efficient for parts requiring multiple bends, tabs, offsets, or detailed shaping.

Compared to traditional progressive die stamping, fourslide offers greater flexibility for complex part geometries while maintaining excellent material utilization. It is particularly effective for components made from flat stock or wire that require tight tolerances and repeatable performance.

Our engineering team carefully evaluates each project to determine whether fourslide or progressive die stamping is the most cost-effective and efficient production method.

In-House Tooling & Process Control

Designed for accuracy, longevity, and consistent output

All fourslide tooling is designed and fabricated in-house by our experienced toolmakers. By maintaining strict internal tooling standards, we ensure extended tool life, simplified maintenance, and minimal production downtime.

Throughout production, our operators conduct in-process inspections and dimensional verification to ensure each component meets exact customer specifications. Preventative maintenance schedules further guarantee consistent performance across long production runs.
